I’m in need of a Halloween costume this year, and I’ve been trying to decide what to do. While thinking about what I want to be, I’ve been thinking back on what I’ve been, and decided to share some of my past costumes. The wedding is in pretty much a month, and things have been going crazy. We met with our priest last week to go over all the final details and what-not. We met up with the DJ today, who seems pretty cool. He promised plenty of inflatable guitars for all, so that will rock! The rsvp’s for the invitations are pretty much all in, with just a few stragglers we are waiting to hear from, but it looks like it’s going to be a pretty decent-sized party, though not as big as we anticipated.
This weekend is also gonna be jampacked with my bachelor party and Shell’s bachelorette party. Shell will be heading down to NYC with her bridesmaids and friends for a night on the town, and then crashing at my sister’s place. As for me…I don’t know. Apparently Steve has decided that it should be a surprise, so I am in the dark as to what he has planned for the weekend. I am driving down to his place Friday night, and then Saturday we are off to the mysterious destination of my bachelor party. I’m looking forward to it, and seeing some friends and family, though I don’t know who exactly is coming (aside from Steve and my bro-in-law Nick).
No need to worry…when I eventually return on Sunday, I will post up (non-incriminating) pics of the weekend festivities. After this weekend, we are into May, and that’s the WEDDING MONTH!!! It’s coming up pretty fast, and I’m excited…and probably a little nervous…but more excited than anything.
Im super-psyched for this weekend, since the school is closed for Columbus Day. Also, we are staying in town this weekend, so it will be a nice, relaxing three days off. Saturday we are just doing our weekly food shopping and then hitting up the local Italian festival. Then Sunday we will be busy cleaning and preparing the house for the invasion of family. Cara is coming up Friday night, and my parents, Shells dad and Shells aunt are all coming up Saturday to celebrate her birthday. So while this weekend will be relaxing, next weekend will be a bit more hectic as family come to visit.
But with three days off, I can relax, and Monday you better believe that I will be getting my game on. I get so little time to play these days thanks to school, so I will take any free time I can and cram it full of gaming goodness.
So Shell and I decided that we wanted to have a Halloween party this year with some close friends. However, I have no idea what I want to be this year, and I really need some sweet ideas. Here’s what Ive been in the past (Mad Tom the Pirate, Silent Bob, Mario, and some kind of weird ALF-like thing…I think I called it Darth Alf):
So yeah, I will love any suggestions. I tend to prefer costumes that are recognizable, and which “fit” me physically (ie: Mario, Silent Bob, The Penguin, etc.) Any help would be hot.
