I have to say that after two nights back in our apartment in NY, I am missing Florida already. Why? First off, there were no annoying cats in Florida! It was after 1am by the time we got home from the airport and went to bed on Monday. Sure enough, at 5:30am, the cats were waking us up by jumping around, climbing on things, and fighting. They also woke me up this morning. I slept so peacefully in Disney and now I have to deal with these jerks. I’m starting to question why I missed them in the first place!
The bed was also a big difference. We have a short queen bed, but our resort had a tall king size bed with lots of pillows. Shell described that experience as “sleeping on a bed of clouds.” It was a really comfortable bed, and I never had any trouble falling asleep, or staying asleep. So the past week Shell has been putting together our apartment with all the neat gifts she received at her shower. We got a heck of a lot of kitchen stuff. We got an awesome panini maker/griddle/waffle iron contraption that I am excited to use. Shell got a food processor so she can start making some great new incredible edibles. We also got a new pot set, which may not sound too exciting, but we definitely needed it since the old pot we had was loose, and the handle was on the verge of falling off. The most exciting thing we got was a set of four beer mugs, which Im looking forward to using for some frosty brewskis.
We also got a bunch of stuff to redecorate the bathroom. Initially I thought it was lame and didn’t really care about getting all these new towels, shower curtains, and other matching toiletry stuff. But the day Shell finished putting it all up and I walked in, I was pretty impressed with how awesome it looked.

Today has been the first truly relaxing weekend day Ive had. I woke up and got to play some Sacred 2 until Shell woke up. After breakfast we hit the gym for a bit, and now we’re getting ready to hit the pool. Nothing else going on today…just chillin’ and hanging out.
