With two weeks to go until PAX East 2013 kicks off, my passes arrived in the mail today. I’m really looking forward to returning to the coolest place I’ve probably ever been. Man, I’ve missed it the past couple of years. Yeah it’s packed tight and crazy busy, but being there was such a rush for me. Sadly with work and money constraints, I couldn’t do all three days, so Steve and I decided to just go for Friday and Saturday.
We’ve been pouring over the event schedule and haven’t decided what to check out yet…there’s so much going on! There’s an interesting presentation on creating your own card game which sounds pretty cool.There’s also a group RPG being done called Murderous Ghosts, where the audience works together to try and escape a haunted convention center. I didn’t see it, but there might also be a Dungeons & Dragons introductory class, which I’d like to do. I’ve become more interested in card/board games over the years, and I’ve been wanting to try out some real RPGs, though still haven’t ever gotten a chance to. I wouldn’t mind if I got my pen and paper RPG cherry popped at PAX East this year!
But no post about your fav sister visiting??????????? The people want to hear about it!
