Damn Gamefly. This game was at the very bottom of my queue, and was the one they sent out. It was fantasticly horrible.
I originally hoped it would be as awesome as X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. But no. It was rough. It had the same basic concept. You have a team of four (obviously the Fantastic 4), and you could use the directional pad to choose which character you were going to control, while the AI controlled the other three. Well let me tell you, the AI sucked.
Most of the time, the AI remained about 20 feet behind me and watched as the character I was using got his ass handed to him by enemies. At some points, I actually had to switch to the other characters just to get them to move to the next area. It was extremely annoying.
One of the only good things that I liked was that the characters did not die. Once a character lost all his health, he passed out for a bit, and would get ressurected after a certain amount of time. So what happened was that when two characters died, I would switch to Invisible Women and turn invisible. The enemies wouldnt see me, and I would hang out until the other characters auto-revived, and then switch back to them. In the other games, you had to get to a checkpoint and go into a menu to revive characters.
So yeah, this game was horrible. The gameplay was pretty bad, the menu and leveling interface was horrible and confusing, and the graphics were definitely not PS3-quality.
I would say to avoid this game at all costs.

I NEVER keep my GameFly queue filled just for this reason. Most of the time my queue has one or two games. Usually I keep just one title there to ensure I get it. I’ve never yet missed a new release doing this and I’ve done it about 10 times now. I strongly advise you to keep a list of games you’d like to try but write them down somewhere and only put one or two you really want to play in your queue so you don’t get shafted again!
